1st Grade Color Wheel Collage

1st Grade spent a lot of time working on their color wheel collage project!  Not only did students learn about the color wheel and how we figure which colors go where; but also, they learned about cutting, gluing, and assembling collages from magazine pages. They turned out adorable!  They got many compliments from visitors during their time on display.

Miss Thomas' Class Earned a Fun Day!!!

Miss Thomas' class earned another FUN DAY!  The students voted to build sculptures out of recycled supplies (since we've been talking about our Green Art Show quite a bit!), and they had a blast!  Watching creative minds at play is one of the most rewarding parts of my job!  Check out the kids at work and some of their unique creations!

This is supposed to be two people.

If I recall correctly this is a dragon!
