Most of first semester in kindergarten was spent on the very basics of Art:  drawing lines, coloring, and cutting.  However, second semester has been far more exciting!
I read, and sang ;) Pete the Cat to the kids and then we made our very own sneaker wearing cats!

| We used recycled toilet paper rolls to be the cat's body, colored them with color pencils, and then added little white sneakers!  Too cute! |
In our most recent project we learned a little more about Art history and discovered the painting "Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh.
| Kinders used Construction Paper Crayons to draw their own "Starry Night"  I love how the crayons look like chalk on the paper! |
| We learned all about the curvy and dotted lines that Van Gogh used in all his paintings. |
| I love it when they're working so hard they can't help but stick their tongues out. |
